Two Oscar nominations!

So happy to report this morning that two Kickstarter-funded films are nominated for Academy Awards this year!

P.S.: These are the fourth and fifth Kickstarter projects to be nominated for Oscars. Incident in New Baghdad, Sun Come Up, and The Barber of Birmingham were all nominated in the past. 

P.P.S.: Will this be the year a crowd-funded film wins an Oscar?! Fingers crossed.

So this morning, two Kickstarter funded films were nominated for Oscars! EastSiders congratulates Kings Point and Inocente! We hope that this is the start of a new generation of film and television production!
